Bill trained at the Toledo Museum of Art under the tutelage of Tom McGlaughlin and Jack Schmidt. His style developed over 15 years and emphasizes glass' strong points as a medium. He combines its limitless color palate and transparency with surface treatment into unique works. Bill is a regionally recognized artist represented in galleries in Ohio including the Toledo Museum of Art. He has won many awards in regional shows and has provided gifts for world leaders such as George Bush and Margaret Thatcher on the occasions of their appearances in Toledo.
